Cloistergeist
Hybrid animated short directed and pitched by me. Created in Lacoste, France. Selected as "Editor's Choice" by the Rookies
Cloistergeist is a short hybrid animation developed by 14 students at the Savannah College of Art and Design studying abroad in Lacoste, France. As the director, I managed all aspects of the film from pre-production to the final edit. My daily tasks often included creative direction, handling deliverables, scheduling, and fostering a united team environment. This was truly a fantastic exercise in creative leadership, time management, and multitasking.
Inspired by the surrounded medieval villages, Cloistergeist follows a monk as his life is upended by a playful ghost and a series of supernatural pranks. When he's finally had enough and attempts to exorcise the spirit, he discovers there's more to the prankster than meets the eye.
