Lost on the Lady Elgin: Exhibit
Bringing a forgotten tragedy back to light, this exhibit dives into the human stories that were lost to the waves
The Lost on the Lady Elgin Exhibit follows the tragic journey of the doomed steamer ship, The Lady Elgin, that sunk in Lake Michigan in 1860. This exhibit explores themes of the human spirit, determination, and empathy.
A key focus of this project was in creating unique interactives and designing for the varied guest experiences. This project was not only a way for me to explore a historical event I find interesting but also allowed me to combine the logistics of a themed experience with the creative conceptual stage.
